Tammy McCreadie
Osteopath
Description
BSc (Hons) Osteopathy, ITEC, MBSR
Tammy’s holistic journey began shortly after becoming a Chartered Surveyor. Having studied for a Degree in Mineral Surveying and Mining Engineering, she realised that this was not the path she wanted to follow.
She qualified as a Reflexologist from the British School of Reflexology in 2003, closely followed up with an ITEC diploma in massage. Tammy’s interest in osteopathy began whilst training as a Massage Therapist, where her tutor was an osteopath. After much deliberation, she chose Oxford Brookes University as her place of study and has never looked back, subsequently qualifying in 2009.
As a keen sportswoman throughout school and University, Tammy was initially drawn towards sports related injuries, however, she soon realised that, an injury is an injury, regardless of how it occurs! She has since developed interests in many aspects of osteopathy, including pregnancy related problems and acute neck problems. Her primary aim is to help people overcome their discomfort as safely and efficiently as possible.
Tammy maintains her commitment to Continuing Professional Development through attendance of seminars, tutorials and conferences, all of which are monitored by the General Osteopathic Council.
Outside of Osteopathy, Tammy still loves competitive sport, although she has moved on from Basketball and Rugby to cycling, running and the occasional Triathlon.
